Top 5 Air Travel Apps Performance in Portugal Q2 2022

In the second quarter of 2022, the top air travel apps in Portugal demonstrated diverse performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data.

Ryanair saw weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at 5.8K in late March and dropping to around 4.5K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 22.1K to 24.1K. Revenue peaked modestly at $17 in late March and hovered between $7 and $14 for the rest of the quarter.

TAP Air Portugal maintained steady weekly download numbers, averaging around 3K. Active users also showed consistent growth, from 5.6K in late March to 6.7K by the end of June. However, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

easyJet: Travel App experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 3.3K in mid-June. Active users rose from 17.8K in late March to over 20K by mid-June, indicating a growing user base. Like TAP Air Portugal, this app did not generate revenue during Q2 2022.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker stood out with significant revenue, starting at $746 in late March and peaking at $1.5K by the end of June. Weekly downloads saw a notable spike in mid-June, reaching 5.6K, while active users grew from 16.9K to 21.5K during the quarter.

Vueling Airlines-Cheap Flights had a steady stream of weekly downloads, averaging around 1K. Active users showed a gradual increase, reaching 4K by late June. Similar to some other apps in this list, Vueling Airlines did not generate any revenue in Q2 2022.
